The Dog House Saloon & Grill is a friendly neighborhood bar and home to Backwoods BBQ, north Jersey’s best barbecue restaurant. Our goal in creating the Dog House website was to create a strong visual look that carries over it’s brand and differentiates it from the competition.
It was also necessary to create a database-driven site that could easily be updated to reflect the many dinner and food specials, live music shows, and other events that the Dog House Saloon & Grill offers. In turn, we created a search engine friendly site with a flexible WordPress content management system and blog.
Carlson Web Design and Consulting also maintains the Dog House website, updating the site’s content, continually monitoring their search engine statistics and regularly modifying and optimizing the site for improved search engine visibility.
The Dog House Saloon & Grill website currently appears on the first page of Google and Yahoo for the highly competitive key phrase “Bergen County bars”, among many others.
Menu Management Panel
The Dog House Saloon now features a customized Menu Management Panel that allows the site owner to log in and easily add, delete or modify items to their menu through a simple web interface. It’s as easy as typing in the name, description and price of the item and clicking on the “Update” button, and the menu is automatically updated and formatted. Please see below for a screenshot of the menu management panel. The results can be viewed at http://doghouse-saloon.com/food. The menu is also in printer-friendly format.
