Third Eye Comics of Annapolis, Maryland contacted us in early 2011. Their existing website was dated and the owner needed better Internet presence with which to market his growing business (which has since expanded to a second location in Prince Frederick, MD).
In addition to giving the new site a better graphical look-and-feel that’s consistent with their brand and industry, the owner needed a means to regularly update the site in order to showcase their inventory. ThirdEyeComics.com is a high-traffic site with a consistent and loyal readership and the staff frequently posts reviews of new titles and products, so it was necessary to install and customize WordPress as their back-end Content Management System.
Third Eye Comics also relies heavily on social media and currently has over six thousand fans of their Facebook page, making the integration of their Facebook feed an important aspect of the development of the new website, which we accomplished.
Lastly, we set up the site for optimal search engine placement. Third Eye Comics currently places at the top of the first page of Google and Bing for all search terms related to Maryland (and ‘MD’) comic book stores and shops, resulting in a significant increase in their Web traffic.
