Parsells Agency is a well-established northeastern New Jersey insurance company with a solid customer base and outstanding customer service (of which I can personally attest, being a longtime customer). However, when they contacted Carlson Web Design they had an outdated and ineffective website that was a poor representation of their corporation and ineffective marketing tool.
Our task was straightforward, if not exactly easy: we needed to redesign the site to better reflect Parsell’s service offerings and company image, and to make the new site rank well in the search engines.
Although further expansion of the site is planned in the very near future, phase one of the project has been a success. We’ve given parsellsagency.com a much-needed facelift, creating an entirely new design and layout that’s both attractive and easy to navigate. And as always, we’ve integrated WordPress to serve as the content management system, allowing the site owners to easily add, delete and modify text and photos. Also, the new site has been optimized to display not only on desktop browsers, but also on tablets (such as the iPad), mobile devices, and cell phones.
Through careful search engine optimization practices, Carlson Web Design has also greatly increased the exposure and subsequent traffic to ParsellsAgency.com. Their new website now ranks at or near the top of the first page on Google and Bing for ‘NJ risk management’, ‘Bergen County insurance companies’, and other such highly-competitive keywords relating to their industry.
