What the heck is “RSS” stuff I keep hearing about?
No offense to those readers who are more tech-savvy, but there are still quite a few people out there that don’t know what “RSS” means, and I don’t want to make any assumptions. It’s really just a simple way to get news from sites that you enjoy, like having your favorite periodicals delivered electronically. If you have 3 minutes and 44 seconds to spare, the video below does a far better job of explaining RSS than I could (it’s very light and non-technical, I promise).
What about privacy — i.e., how secure is my email address if I decide to subscribe?
I assure you that subscribing via RSS or Email will not mean that you will be inundated with email notifications from the Carlson Web Design site, and I never, EVER sell or share my subscribers’ emails with anyone. That is a practice that I absolutely despise and I refuse to do it. It’s also a good way to lose the trust of clients and prospective customers, and that just doesn’t make good business sense.
